What the consultation includes
A Consultation at Lavish Touch Of Colors is a focused 30-minute meeting offered at no cost ($0). During this time you and a stylist discuss your goals, current hair condition, past services, and any concerns. The stylist listens to preferences, clarifies expectations, and outlines realistic next steps so you leave with a clear plan rather than an immediate service.
If you’re booking for color correction, this consultation is required before scheduling the correction appointment. The meeting allows the stylist to determine whether additional time or services will be necessary, set a safe timeline, and explain potential trade-offs so you understand the process and any follow-up appointments that may be needed.
How we assess hair needs
Assessment focuses on observable texture, length, and lifestyle needs. Stylists ask about daily styling routines, past chemical services, and how humidity affects your hair in Central Florida. For clients with curly hair, short styles, or challenging requests, the stylist uses that information to predict how a cut or color will behave between visits and recommends realistic, maintainable options.
Clients who arrived after poor cuts or who wanted a precise short style report greater confidence after our consultations. We discuss methods appropriate for your look—sometimes including tools or approaches suited to a specific style—so the chosen service matches your hair’s natural tendencies and your weekly schedule as a commuter, student, or busy family member.
Planning the next service steps
At the end of the consultation you receive a recommended plan: the exact service(s), estimated number of visits if corrective work is needed, and suggested timing. We factor in local seasonality—January for New Year changes, May for summer color planning, and September for back-to-school resets—so you can schedule when stylists are less busy or when results fit your calendar.
You’ll also get practical advice for at-home care suited to Oviedo’s humid subtropical climate—products, styling tips, and maintenance intervals. If booking a follow-up, we aim to accommodate evening or weekend times for commuting families and UCF students. The consultation keeps expectations clear and ensures the next appointment is efficient and focused.
