Clean the face, avoid heavy creams or makeup, and gently exfoliate 48 hours before. Ensure hair is at least 1/8 inch long. Avoid retinoids or harsh treatments a week prior. Your technician will confirm any specific pre-care instructions on arrival.
Most clients experience a quick stinging sensation, but it is brief. We use temperature-controlled wax and calming techniques, plus cold compresses after waxing. Numbing creams are available on request, and regular waxing often reduces sensitivity over time.
Results vary by individual, but expect smoothness for about 3–6 weeks depending on hair growth cycles and aftercare. Consistent waxing can weaken follicles and lead to finer, sparser regrowth over months, extending intervals between visits.
Temporary redness, minor swelling, and sensitivity are common and typically resolve within hours to a day. Less common issues include bruising, ingrown hairs, or irritation. We screen skin history, perform patch tests if needed, and give aftercare to reduce risks.
Generally schedule appointments every 3–6 weeks depending on your natural hair growth. Start with shorter intervals to determine your cycle. Regular waxing often increases the time between sessions and improves overall texture and regrowth pattern.
We evaluate each client individually. Active cold sores, eczema, severe acne, or recent chemical peels may require postponement. Bring your medical history and medications; we may perform a patch test or recommend alternative hair removal options for safety.
